Flint Waters was selected as the Chief Information Officer for the State of Wyoming in April 2011. Waters provides the strategic leadership and technology direction for the State and is responsible for oversight and management of enterprise technology initiatives. Prior to his CIO role, Waters was the Chief Technology Officer for the forty-nine Internet Crime Against Children (ICAC) task forces and was the Chief Security Officer for TLO from 2008 through 2010. He has worked for the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation, where he developed software for use in identifying predators that target children. That software has been used by hundreds of law enforcement agencies across the world. He has won awards for his innovative technologies and has testified before numerous Congressional committees on this topic.
