Felix Leder, PhD

Dr. Felix Leder, PhD, has trained specialized teams worldwide in cybersecurity and machine learning, fostering knowledge sharing, and innovation. Before joining RSAC, he worked at Crosspoint Labs, contributing to M&A activities and guiding several portfolio companies through major transformations, from risk management to technology-driven value creation. Earlier, he led R&D teams at Symantec, NortonLifeLock, and Blue Coat, and conducted research with industry leaders such as Google, Microsoft, T-Mobile, and Nokia. A long-time advocate of open source, Felix has spoken globally, mentored in Google’s Summer of Code, and served 12 years on the board of The Honeynet Project. He holds a PhD in malware from the University of Bonn and has competed in multiple Ironman Triathlon World Championships.
