Erroll G. Southers, a former FBI Special Agent, is the Managing Director for Counterterrorism and Infrastructure Protection for the international security consulting firm TAL Global. He is also the Associate Director of Research Transition at the DHS National Center for Risk and Economic Analysis of Terrorism Events and adjunct professor at the University of Southern California (USC). He was President Barack Obama’s first nominee for TSA Assistant Secretary. He served as Assistant Chief of Homeland Security and Intelligence at the Los Angeles World Airports Police Department. Southers is a noted counterterrorism expert for media networks, lectures and consults around the world. He earned his undergraduate degree from Brown University, and his master's and doctoral degrees USC.
