As a Senior Threat Researcher on the Splunk Threat Research Team, Eric McGinnis has worked to build and validate threat detections at scale in CI/CD pipelines. Before coming to Splunk, Eric worked for the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Lab, designing and prototyping secure integrated hardware and software solutions for satellites and embedded hardware. An efficiency enthusiast, Eric enjoys workflow optimization and parallelization, bringing speed and flexibility to otherwise limited platforms.
