Eric Doerr

Eric Doerr joined Google Cloud in 2022 as the Vice President of Engineering for Google’s Security Operations business (including the Mandiant portfolio through the recent acquisition). He joined Google with a deep conviction that the security industry needs a new approach, and was attracted to Google's willingness to be disruptive and focus on long term customer success vs. short term profiteering. Prior to Google, Eric did two stints at Microsoft, most recently leading the Security Response Center (MSRC) and Product Management and key engineering functions for Microsoft's Cloud Security business. Outside of work Eric lives in Seattle, chases his kids around, and is obsessed with 1900s architecture and remodeling.
