Erez Liebermann

 Erez Liebermann is a partner in Debevoise & Plimpton's Data Strategy & Security Group. His practice focuses on advising major businesses, senior executives and Boards on a wide range of complex, high-impact cyber incident response matters and on data-related regulatory requirements and inquiries. Erez previously led major cyber investigations for 10 years at the Department of Justice as Chief of the Computer Hacking and IP Section of the U.S. Attorney's Office.  He then served as Chief Counsel of Cybersecurity & Privacy at Prudential Financial.  Erez combines his technical training as an aerospace engineer with his experience in government and in-house to distill technical issues for executives and regulators and devise strategies for effective crisis resolution.
