Elena Elkina

Elena Elkina is a Co-Founder & Board Member of Women in Security and Privacy (WISP), a non-profit organization that aims to advance women in the privacy and security fields. Elena is also a Co-Founder & Partner at Aleada Consulting, a privacy and information security firm. For Elena, privacy and information security hit close to home. Her childhood in a secret city in the Soviet Union morphed into a driving need to safeguard businesses' and individuals' data, especially those unaware of their own risk and vulnerability. During her 27-year legal/compliance career, she has worked with financial and healthcare institutions, software companies, major law firms, and the government sector on both international and domestic levels.
