Elan Smolar Eisenberg is a graduate student at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, majoring in Information Technology with a focus on Cybersecurity. She is a Member of the inaugural US Women’s Cyber Team, a Researcher in the Rensselaer Cybersecurity Collaboratory, and President of the Gamma Nu Eta IT honor society. Her work in quantum cryptography examines potential vulnerabilities in RSA using an IBM quantum supercomputer, and she previously worked on AI-driven intrusion detection systems leveraging quantum computing. Driven by an early start to coding at age eight, Elan continues to innovate in cybersecurity while championing inclusivity and cutting-edge research. She is passionate about harnessing new technologies to improve the lives of those around her.
