Deputy Chief Information Officer for Cybersecurity, SES (US)
Edward A. Brindley is the Acting Deputy Chief Information Officer for Cybersecurity within the Department of Defense (DoD), Office of the Chief Information Officer. Brindley is responsible for ensuring the department has a well-defined and executed cybersecurity program. He is responsible for coordinating cybersecurity standards and policies with other federal agencies, coalition partners and industry. Previously Brindley served as the Deputy Chief of User Facing Services at the National Security Agency. He began his career serving in the US Army for five years where he was responsible for signals intelligence collection, operations and analysis. Brindley has a BA from the University of the State of New York and received an MS from the University of Maryland in technology management.
