Parisa Grayeli is a principal information system engineer at the MITRE Corporation and currently serves as the technical lead for the Mitigating IoT-Based DDoS project at NIST’s National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence. She has over 23 years of secure networking experience. Her range of expertise include IoT, network security, network architecture, cloud computing, unified communication, software-defined networking and wireless. She holds a Ph.D in systems engineering and an MS degree in electrical engineering from the George Washington University. Her certifications include Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP). She is an Adjunct Professor at the George Washington University, teaching cybersecurity courses.
