Dr. Chaichana Mitrpant

Chaichana Mitrpant is a Deputy Executive Director of Electronic Transactions Development Agency (ETDA). He heads the ThaiCERT and digital forensics operations and supervises a policy research and development team responsible for promoting electronic transactions in Thailand. As a member of several sub-committees of Thailand's Electronic Transactions Commissions, he contributes to making laws and regulations that foster the secure environment for electronic transactions. He has over fifteen years of experience in digital communications and information security. Mitrpant received BS, MS and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Rice University, the University of Michigan and Universitaet Duisburg-Essen, respectively.
