Brian Gant

Dr. Brian Gant earned his Bachelor's in Information Systems from Maryville University, followed by a Master's in Management from Fontbonne University, a Master's in Human Services from Capella University, and a Doctorate in Higher Education Leadership from Maryville University. He then joined the FBI as an Intelligence Analyst, specializing in cyber threats and domestic terrorism. He served until 2009 before becoming a Special Agent at the U.S. Secret Service. Over 5 years, he protected former Presidents Obama and Clinton, managed critical systems, and tackled electronic and cybercrimes. In 2020, he joined Maryville University's Simon School of Business as a full-time Assistant Professor, and is now serving as Interim Assistant Dean of Technology.
