Doug McGinnis

Doug McGinnis is managing the Engineering organizations responsible for deploying Smart Grid communications infrastructure at Exelon and its two subsidiary utilities, PECO & ComEd. McGinnis developed an end-to-end multi-service 4 tier communications strategy for these companies. He is a key participant in development and implementation of Exelon’s cybersecurity program which is risk-aware, standards-based and supplier-conscious. Exelon has been the top-ranked electric and gas utility on the FORTUNE 500 each year since 2008. It has operations and business activities in 47 states, DC and Canada. It delivers energy and natural gas to more than 6.6 million customers. He is a Board Member of Smart Grid Interoperability Panel (SGIP) and Utilities Telecom Council (UTC).
