Dean Thompson

Dean Thompson is currently employed as the Senior Manager of the Cyber-Security Intelligence Unit team at ANZ Bank. Job responsibilities include, working with its Global Security Operations Centre (GSOC), collating threat intelligence that is pertinent to ANZ and building a centralized Threat Intelligence repository, which can be used to further automate our security responses and identify additional trends within the environment. In addition to working with ANZ, he has also worked with the Attorney General’s Department in Canberra and the Department of Defense in the US to help craft the Cyberstorm II / Cyberstorm III (Cyber-Terrorism) scenarios, used to assess Australia’s response to such incidents, for both the public and private sectors.
