David Smith

David Smith leads all quality assurance efforts at Phantom, a leading provider of Security Automation and Orchestration technology. Smith has an extensive background in networking, engineering, quality and automation. At Phantom he manages the quality assurance process and the automation lab, relying heavily on Python, automation tools and test frameworks. He has architected and built automation test frameworks, integrated test and bug tracking systems, and designed automated build processes. At VSS Monitoring, he architected and built process and automation into manufacturing, production and engineering teams. At Fortinet he built the first fully automated test platform in the company used by both development and quality teams, successfully reducing development churn and time to market.
