David Porter

David Porter has over 25 years of experience working as a specialist security advisor to government and commercial clients. As a Special Advisor at Digital Shadows he is currently focused on intelligence-led security testing and crisis management in the financial sector. Originally an Artificial Intelligence Researcher, he subsequently moved into fraud and money laundering detection, advanced systems engineering, information security, accident investigation and cyberthreat intelligence. Porter is an experienced writer, presenter, trainer and media commentator. He holds an M.Sc. in advanced methods in computer science from the University of London and is a Certified Fraud Examiner.
