Major General David B. Lacquement, USA, is the Director Operations, J-3, for United States Cyber Command, Fort George G. Meade, MD. As the Director of Operations, he is responsible for planning, executing, coordinating, and managing forces for DoD computer network attack (CNA) and computer network defense (CND), as directed by USSTRATCOM. He is a graduate of Western Maryland College and was commissioned through ROTC as a Second Lieutenant in June, 1977. Previous assignments include Commanding General of the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command at Fort Belvoir, VA; Chief of Staff for Intelligence, C-2, Multi-National Force-Iraq in support of OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM, Director of Intelligence, J-2, United States Southern Command, Miami, Florida, and Assistant Chief of Staff, G-3, U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command, Fort Belvoir, VA. MG Lacquement has served on other key command assignments throughout the United States and Germany, including Commander, 66th Military Intelligence Group, United States Army Europe and Seventh Army, Germany; 519th Military Intelligence Battalion (Tactical Exploitation) with deployment in support of OPERATION JOINT GUARD, Bosnia-Herzegovina; XVIII Airborne Corps, Fort Bragg, North Carolina with deployments in support of OPERATIONS ALLIED FORCE and JOINT GUARDIAN, Kosovo and Macedonia; and Commander, B Company, 109th Military Intelligence Battalion, 9th Infantry Division, Fort Lewis, Washington.
