David J. Rothkopf

David J. Rothkopf is Chief Executive Officer and Editor of the FP Group, where he oversees all editorial, publishing, event and other operations of the company, which publishes Foreign Policy Magazine. He is also President and CEO of Garten Rothkopf, an international advisory company specializing focusing on transformational trends with practices focused on technology, global political risk, energy/climate and emerging markets issues. Additionally, Rothkopf is a widely published author and has authored numerous internationally acclaimed books, including most recently National Insecurity: American Leadership in an Age of Fear, published in the fall of 2014. He is also a visiting scholar at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.
