David Cripps

David is the CISO for the Investec Bank Group and is responsible for the Group’s information security programme; developing and implementing the security policies, coordinating standards and guidelines within a globally decentralised environment. He ensures that the Group’s information assets are given an appropriate level of protection. He has a strong technical and networking background in the finance and telecommunications industry. His experience includes roles in network management, network security, support and implementation. David has been awarded a master’s degree in Internet and Telecommunications Law (LLM) from Strathclyde University.
