David Cole

Dave Cole’s fingerprints are visible across the cybersecurity industry from his 25 years working as a leader in consulting (Deloitte, ISS), enterprise products (VP@Foundstone, CPO@CrowdStrike, CPO@Tenable), and consumer products (VP@Norton). Currently, he is CEO and Co-Founder of Open Raven, a Kleiner Perkins–backed post series A company focused on reimagining data protection. In early 2019, Cole and Jack Daniel (B-Sides conference founder) started the Security Voices podcast as a sponsorless show focused on highlighting the diverse people and perspectives in cybersecurity. The podcast has released over 30 episodes and continues to publish new content monthly. Cole has authored a number of US patents related to malware and vulnerability management.
