David Kosorok leads Product Security at Toast, Inc., with over 30 years of experience in software and security testing, focusing on application security for the past 15 years. He has led security programs at Hyland Software, DocuSign, Align Technologies, SAP Concur, and a large non-profit organization, where he built their first AppSec program. David holds certifications including CISSP, CSSLP, GWAPT, CHFI, and CEH, and has a Master’s in Information Security and Assurance. He serves on EC-Council’s CEH Global Advisory Board and volunteers as a Beta editor for PenTestMag. Outside cybersecurity, David enjoys precision sports, writing Sci-Fi/Fantasy, running, hiking, and spending time with his wife, Kimberly, their nine children, and two grandchildren.
