Dave Weinstein

Dave Weinstein leads the Android Security Assurance Engineering Team at Google. A regular speaker at technology conferences since the late 1980s, he has presented security research at CanSecWest, DefendCon, ToorCon and HushCon. Prior to joining Google, Weinstein worked in the Microsoft Trustworthy Computing group, where he developed the !exploitable Windows debugging extension that provides automated crash analysis and security risk assessment, and as a Security Researcher at the Zero Day Initiative. Over the course of the past 30 years, he has worked in military research, academic AI research, as a mainframe programmer, and as a game developer, before moving into security.
