Danny Yang

Danny Yang is the Co-founder of Maicoin, a bitcoin services platform with offices in Taipei and Palo Alto. Danny has worked on machine learning and data problems for over a decade, and believes that the intersection of bitcoin and big data will be increasingly more important, especially in getting mass consumer adoption of bitcoin. Previously, Danny founded ScoreData and Seravia, and before that he was an early employee at Like.com, later acquired by Google. At Like.com, Danny created algorithms for face detection and clothing similarity, and reverse engineered search rankings. At both Seravia and ScoreData, he worked on unlocking patterns in diverse data sets. Danny graduated from Harvard with a degree in Chemistry and Physics, and got his PhD in Computer Science from Stanford.
