Daniela Fernandez

With 19+ years' experience in IT, Daniela Fernandez is the Head of Information Security | CISO at PayPal Australia. Previously, Daniela was Director of Cyber Risk and Strategy at Deloitte, and also worked in multiple roles at CBA across protective security services, intelligence, fraud detection and cybersecurity. Her last role at CBA was Executive Manager, BISO. Daniela is one of the Sydney chapter leads for AWSN, part of the Australia CXO Tribe Steerco Committee, one of the Governing body leads of the Evanta Sydney CISO Community. Daniela was a finalist for the 2022 AISA awards under the category of Cybersecurity Professional of the year and for 3 consecutive years one of the winners for the CSO30 Awards. In 2023 she took out top place in the Leadership category of the CSO30 Awards.
