Daniel Kroese is the Associate Director of CISA’s National Risk Management Center focusing on strategic engagement. Prior to joining the NRMC, Kroese was Senior Advisor to Director Krebs at CISA. In that position he led planning efforts for the first-of-its-kind DHS National Cyber Summit that has been widely applauded as a groundbreaking moment for enhanced collaboration between the public and private sector on cybersecurity risk management. Kroese previously served as Chief of Staff to Congressman John Ratcliffe who chairs the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Protection Subcommittee in the House of Representatives. Throughout these roles, Kroese has been on the front lines of important cybersecurity debates and has developed deep connections across industry and government alike.
