Daniel Latham

Special Agent (SA) Daniel Latham has been with the Federal Bureau of Investigation since 2016. Before his tenure at the FBI, SA Latham was the president of Computer Systems Consultants, a small medical software company. Commencing his FBI career in Los Angeles, he initially specialized in complex financial crime investigations. SA Latham made a transition to cybercrime investigations, where his casework predominantly focused on investigations involving SIM swaps, malware, and computer intrusions. Most recently, SA Latham was the lead FBI case agent for the Qakbot malware investigation and subsequent takedown in August 2023. SA Latham possesses an MBA from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut where he is a native, in addition to several SANS certifications.
