Dan Boneh is a Professor of Computer Science at Stanford University where he heads the applied cryptography group and co-directs the computer security lab. His work includes cryptosystems with novel properties, web security, cryptography for blockchains, and cryptanalysis. He is the author of over 150 publications in the field, a member of the national academy of engineering, and a recipient of the RSA award in mathematics.
