Craig Gibson's research is dedicated to the threat landscape of government, health, banking, and telecom sectors. A former United Nations delegate to China, Craig has previously spoken internationally on telecommunications, public safety, payment cards, security of voice services, call center SIM Swap, and criminal wiretap. Craig is Principal Threat Defense Architect of Trend Micro Research. His research has been co-published with Europol and United Nations counterterrorism, telecom, AI, and robotics entities. Craig’s research is in 5G/6G, telecom, identity, autonomous vehicles and drones, national identity, zero trust, and cascade failure. As a serial entrepreneur he has been on multiple private and public sector boards. His research has been shown at GSMA and RSA Conference.
