Conrad Prince is the UK Cyber Security Ambassador, based in UK Trade and Investment. In this role he works with overseas governments on the development of cybersecurity capability, and within the UK as a senior advocate for the government's agenda to develop a strong and innovative cybersecurity sector. From 2008 to 2015 he was the senior official (three star equivalent) overseeing the operations of GCHQ, the UK Signals Intelligence and Cyber Security agency. From 2011 to 2015 he was also the agency's Deputy Director. He has had a 25-year career in GCHQ, holding various leadership roles. In 2015 he was appointed a Companion of the Order of the Bath, and in the same year was presented with the Director's Memento of Esteem by the director of the National Security Agency.
