National Coordinator for Economic Crime, City of London Police
Christopher Greany joined the City of London Police in 2015 as the Police National Coordinator for Economic Crime. With a career spanning over 30 years he is also the National Police Chiefs’ Council (NPCC) lead for Identity Crime and Cyber Protection. Much of his career has been in counterterrorism, security and intelligence working across a number of police forces and agencies. In 2014 he was promoted to Commander and appointed as Strategic Lead for the National Police Coordination Centre (NPOCC), a unit that coordinates the UK policing response with government during times of crisis, disaster, national and international emergency. His work now is leading and coordinating the UK Police response to fraud and global financial crime in all its forms.
