Permanent Professor and Head, Department of Computer and Cyber Sciences, United States Air Force Academy
David Caswell is the Permanent Professor and Head of the Air Force Academy’s Department of Computer and Cyber Sciences. He has served as a Cyber-Operations Officer and Operations Research Analyst in programs ranging from educational wargame development to intelligence agency support. Prior to his appointment at the Air Force Academy, Caswell commanded the 690 Network Support Squadron where he stood up the Air Force’s command and control capability for its operational network. His doctorate is from Stanford University with a dissertation on applying artificial intelligence techniques to analyze national strategies for combatting nuclear weapons proliferation.
