Clarence Chio

Clarence Chio is a Software Engineer and Entrepreneur who co-authored the O’Reilly book Machine Learning and Security. He has given talks, workshops and trainings on machine learning and security at DEF CON, Black Hat and other security conferences/meetups across more than a dozen countries. Chio is the Co-Founder and CTO of the financial crime-fighting company, Unit21, and is the Founder and Co-Chair of the AI Village at DEF CON. He holds a BS and MS in computer science from Stanford University, specializing in data mining and artificial intelligence.
