Christina Sames

Christina Sames is a Lead Cyber Security Engineer in MITREs Cyber Strategy, Policy and Privacy Department. Sames has been involved in significant updates and reshaping the series of policy documents that guided the transition from traditional certification and accreditation (C&A) to the Risk Management Framework (RMF). During the past few years, she has contributed to cybersecurity standards, including NIST Special Publications such as NIST SP 800-37, Rev 2 and NIST SP 800-53, Rev 5, and 53B. Over the past year, Sames was also part of leading a team developing a Cybersecurity Framework–based risk model as well as supporting the development of Cybersecurity Framework Profiles.
