Chris Marsalis

Chris Marsalis is the Senior Privacy Program Manager for TVA, a federally owned utility that provides power to more than nine million people in seven southeastern states. Marsalis oversees the strategy and implementation of TVA’s Privacy Program, which includes compliance requirements, training, policy development, monitoring and reporting. Prior to joining TVA, Marsalis worked at Oak Ridge National Laboratory where he served as the Deputy Director for the Department of Energy’s Oak Ridge Office of Counterintelligence. He earned a National Intelligence Meritorious Award, presented by the Director of National Intelligence in 2008. Marsalis is an IAPP Certified Information Privacy Professional. He has a BS and master's degree of business administration from East Tennessee State University.
