Chris Horn is a researcher at Secure Decisions and helps guide application security product development at Code Dx, Inc. He is currently engaged in several application security (AppSec) research projects, including developing a system for benchmarking static code analyzers, studying human factors that affect application security and applying machine learning to triage of static code analysis findings. The results of his prior research on AppSec metrics have been applied to state-of-the art dashboards for application vulnerability management. Horn has 18 years of experience in research, software systems and new product development. He began his career at the RAND Corporation and Carnegie Mellon University where he studied human-computer interaction and human decision making.
