Carole Rendon is the United States Attorney for the Northern District of Ohio. In that role, she is the chief federal law enforcement officer for Ohio’s northern 40 counties. The office is tasked with enforcing a wide range of criminal and civil statutes and defending the US in civil litigation and filing lawsuits. Rendon served from 2009 through 2016 as the First Assistant US Attorney. During that time, she led the Office’s catalyzing of the Northeast Ohio Cyber Consortium, a cross-sector, regional, public-private partnership for cyber-information sharing. Rendon received her B.A. in political science from Northwestern University and her J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law.
