Carolann Shields is SVP and Global CISO at 3M. Carolan Shields has over 25 years of experience in IT, including 15 in cybersecurity, across industries like management consulting, audit, tax, and oil & gas services. She began her career at McKinsey & Company, where she held leadership roles in IT security. She then became CISO for KPMG US, building a 150-member team focused on response, triage, and compliance. Following KPMG, she was recruited as the CISO at Baker Hughes to establish a new security team.
