As Founder and Chief Research Officer, Bob Walder leads the analyst team at NSS Labs and sets the research direction for the company. Mr. Walder has over 30 years’ experience in the computer industry, and is a well-respected expert on cyber security. Having worked in various senior IT roles in software, manufacturing and banking industries, he moved into technology journalism and later became a Research Director at Gartner on the Security, Privacy & Risk team. Since founding NSS, Mr. Walder has performed some of the most important cyber security research on network infrastructure protection, threat management, and intrusion prevention.
