Ben Nimmo

Ben Nimmo is Director of Investigations at Graphika, a New York-based social-media analytics company. He specializes in analyzing online disinformation, influence and intimidation operations around the world, whether from state-linked actors or non-state groups. From 2016 to 2019 he was a founding member of the Atlantic Council’s Digital Forensic Research Lab (DFRLab) where he studied information operations and election interference, including around the elections in the United States (2016), France and Germany (2017), Brazil and Mexico (2018) and India (2019). Nimmo is a former journalist and NATO press officer, and speaks a number of languages, including Russian, French and Latvian. He is based in the United Kingdom.
