Benjamin Moskowitz is Director of Consumer Reports’ Digital Lab, a major initiative to expand CR’s work on privacy, digital security, and emerging concerns in digital consumer protection. CR launched the Digital Lab in 2019 to produce pioneering research and investigative journalism to increase transparency in the digital marketplace. The Digital Lab serves as the foundation for CR’s work to hold the tech industry to higher standards and advocate for marketplace protections, including tougher privacy laws and antitrust enforcement. Before joining CR, Moskowitz served as Director of Development for Innovation for the International Rescue Committee. Previously, he served as Senior Director, Development Strategy at Mozilla Foundation, where he built research programs and open source software.
