Bart Vansevenant

Bart Vansevenant is Head of Security Strategy for Catbird. He is responsible for strategy and product marketing of Catbird’s software-defined security suite, and responsible for relationships with key Cloud and Services Providers. Previously, Vansevenant was Executive Director of the Global Security Product Organization at Verizon, responsible for strategy, product management and development for the company's security portfolio worldwide. He also was part of a team defining Verizon Business’ cloud strategy and offerings, leading up to the acquisition of Terremark. Vansevenant holds a master’s degree in Applied Economics from the University of Antwerp, Belgium, and a post-graduate degree in Information and Communications Technology from the University of Namur, Belgium.
