Arthur Deane

Arthur Deane is a CISO with nearly 20 years of experience leading security programs at global organizations. He is currently VP of Cyber at Capital One, overseeing security for cloud operations and M&A. Previously, he was CISO for Capital One’s Card business and Amazon Health Services. He's also held security leadership roles at Google, PwC, and security engineering roles with the US government. Arthur holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from RIT and an MS in Information Security from the University of Maryland. He is an Adjunct Professor at American University, a member of RIT's National Council, and on Howard University's Computer Science Advisory Board. He holds numerous certifications, and is author of CCSP for Dummies and The Official (ISC)² CISSP CBK Reference, 6th Ed.
