Apoorva Phadke is the head of the Security Transformation Team at Cisco Secure. In her role, she works across people, process, and technology, to mature security practices, communicate security risk, and enable a positive security culture. Prior to this, she was the Head of Product Security, Security Automation and Education at Duo/Cisco Secure. Having spent a decade in Security Consulting, she has experience working with multiple Fortune 500 companies across various domains to implement security solutions. Her interests include program strategy, security processes and tooling, DevSecOps, security learning and security risk, amongst others. In her down time, she’s most likely spending time with her two young kids, hiking in wonderful Michigan, or engrossed in a murder mystery novel.
