Anne Toth

Anne Toth is a well-known technology policy expert with a focus on online privacy. She is the Founder and CEO of Privacyworks, a privacy and tech policy consultancy in Silicon Valley. Previously, Toth was the Vice President of Policy and Compliance for Slack Technologies, Inc., focused on privacy, security, policy and compliance. Prior to joining Slack, Toth was the Head of Privacy for Google+ and was Yahoo!'s Chief Trust Officer overseeing privacy, data governance, child safety, advertising content policy and related policy areas. Toth has testified before Congress and before the Article 29 Working Party in Europe. She has appeared in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Glamour magazine, Financial Times, Guardian, PBS NewsHour, ABC News and many other media outlets.
