Angela Weinman

Angela Weinman joined VMware in 2014 and is Head of Global Governance, Risk, and Compliance. She passionately believes that Information Security is a business enabler when security roadmaps and execution are tightly aligned to company goals. Weinman drives security initiatives across Cloud Services and corporate domains to accelerate customers’ digital transformation. Weinman previously held senior security roles at PayPal and Visa, building on a broad technology background, including two decades leading large-scale DevOps functions. Weinman is a member of the Bay Area CSO Council collaboration non-profit, where she held a board position for 10 years. She maintains multiple security certifications and holds a bachelor of science degree in computation from the University of Manchester in England.
