Andy Steingruebl

Andy Steingruebl is the senior manager of Internet standards and governance for PayPal. In this role, Steingruebl serves as a technical expert in systems and application security and leads a team focused on internet ecosystem security. He previously managed the secure development program for all PayPal applications including the Web sites supporting PayPal's more than 100 million active registered accounts. He has been with PayPal since 2006. Prior to PayPal, he has worked in the security industry for more than 15 years in a multitude of highly regulated environments including healthcare and insurance services, serving in a variety of roles including information security manager and architect. He has a background in software security and both UNIX and network administration.
