Andy Ozment serves as the Chief Technology Risk Officer and an EVP at Capital One (COF). He’s responsible for all aspects of COF’s second-line technology risk function and oversight activities. His remit includes cybersecurity, cyber-enabled insider threat, dev/ops best practices, resilience, reliability, and strategic technology risk. Andy has worked in cybersecurity as an operator, programmer, policymaker, and executive in government and the private sector. Prior roles: Chief Information Security Officer and partner at Goldman Sachs; Assistant Secretary for Cybersecurity and Communications at DHS; President’s (Obama) Senior Director for Cybersecurity; and various cybersecurity or engineering roles at the DoD, MIT Lincoln Laboratory, Merrill Lynch, Georgia Tech, and Nortel Networks.
