Andrew Lohn is a Senior Fellow at Georgetown’s Center for Security and Emerging Technology (CSET) where he leads the CyberAI Project. He previously served as the Director for Emerging Technology on the National Security Council Staff, Executive Office of the President. Dr. Lohn has also been a visiting scientist at MIT, an Information Scientist at the RAND Corporation, and has worked at Sandia National Laboratories, NASA, HP Labs, and a few startup companies. His work focuses on the intersection of AI, cyber, and policy as well as the trajectories of AI development in terms of technological development, economics, and geopolitical competition. He has presented at technical conferences such as RSAC, Black Hat and NeurIPS and has testified before the Senate and House of Congress.
