Amit Sinha

Dr. Amit Sinha is a seasoned entrepreneur and technology leader in the security and wireless networking industry. Sinha is currently the CTO of Zscaler. Prior to Zscaler, he was the CTO of Motorola’s Enterprise Networking and Communication division, delivering WLAN security and infrastructure solutions. He was the CTO of AirDefense (acquired by Motorola) and Chief Technologist at Engim, a Wi-Fi chipset company he co-founded. He has authored over 25 journal/conference papers, contributed chapters to 3 books, and is the inventor of 22 US patents. He received his S.M. and Ph.D. degrees in EECS from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and his B.Tech degree in EE from IIT-Delhi where he was awarded the President of India Gold Medal for graduating summa cum laude.
