Alma Cole
Chief Information Security Officer, DHS Customs and Border Protection
Alma R. Cole is the Chief Information Security Officer for the US Customs and Border Protection (CBP), where he was responsible for cybersecurity strategy, policy, compliance, and operations. Cole has years of experience as the Director of the DHS Security Operations Center where he directly led the defense of the Department in the face persistent and targeted cyberattacks. He holds a master’s in business administration with an emphasis in information assurance from Idaho State University, and a bachelor of science in business information systems with an emphasis in e-commerce from Utah State University.
